“Having both graduated and worked in a large university, I feel I have the 'large school experience' that I can compare to the private school environment. Having three daughters that have all attended/graduated from a private college, I am fortunate to have both experiences that I can bring to St. Andrews. As I say to all students looking for that 'right fit' it is about the people you meet during your college search. I look forward to meeting with you as you go on that educational journey to find that 'right fit'.”

Debbie is a graduate of North Carolina State University where she earned her B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing. Debbie joined the St. Andrews Admissions Staff in 2000.

“For me, St Andrews is a place of learning, but not just the kind done in the classroom. The people here have so many different backgrounds, experiences, interests and ideas, and St Andrews provides an opportunity to learn from every person around you. While going to school here, I created lasting friendships with people I might not have met under other circumstances. By far my favorite thing about this school is that you are encouraged to interact with people who are different from you in a variety of ways and they become your close friends. I came for an education and found a home and family too.”

Jessica earned her B.A. in Politics from St. Andrews in 2011. Active in the competitive equestrian program as a student, she also served as the Writers' Forum student host.

Assistant Director of Admissions

“Having left St. Andrews after graduation to receive my masters and work in Minor League Baseball; it was refreshing to come back home to family. That is what four years here at St. Andrews does, it makes you part of the family. Here at St. Andrews you are not a number you are an individual; you are seen and known for who you are, not what number on the class roster falls beside your name. Everyone cares and it shows, from your professors to your peers; you are able to become part of something greater. The classes engage you, campus events are always going on to entertain you and your peers are there to always keep you moving; it is an experience I have yet to feel anywhere else.”

Megan graduated from St. Andrews in 2010 with a B.A. in Sport and Recreation Studies.

“While attending St. Andrews, I could feel myself growing as an individual both on and off the field. What initially brought me to this beautiful campus was the baseball program. After immersing myself in the core courses and student run activities, my pride grew and my 'game plan' shifted to different areas of studies. The support here on campus to achieve your full potential is second to none. And the doors that open plus the professional connections developed outside of this institution also provide a great head-start for life after graduation.”

Steven graduated with a B.A. in Politics from St. Andrews in 2010. While a student, he was active in various campus activities and served as Student Body President.

Assistant Director of Admissions

“What makes St. Andrews special is how diverse we are through the people, the majors, the athletic teams, and the programs we offer.  There is always something about St. Andrews that will draw a student to the campus and have it feel like home.  The best way in finding out if a college is right for you is to make sure to visit all the college campuses that you are interested in, and to ask questions that pertain to your four years at that college.  When it comes to admissions, we are here to answer any questions you may have, and we also view your file for the possibility of acceptance into St. Andrews.”

Erin is a St. Andrews Alum, who earned her B.A. in Equine Business Management and Therapeutic Horsemanship. As a student Erin was an active member of the IDA team. Erin joined the Admissions Staff after her graduation in 2006.
