Accommodations |
St. Andrews University provides equal access to education for all students. Students with documented disabilities, as defined by the ADA, 1990 (updated in 2009) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, are eligible for services. Accommodations are individual in nature and determined based upon the documented diagnosis for each case. Requested accommodations must be reasonable, must not create undue burden, and must be supported by adequate documentation. |

Testing ServicesTesting services and accommodations are provided to ensure that evaluation methods represent the student's ability rather than disability. Dependent on the nature of the course, disability and documentation, testing accommodations may include:
Students qualifying for testing accommodations will have their tests proctored through the Center for Academic Success located in Pate Hall. Students must make arrangements for testing accommodations with individual professors and at the Center for Academic Success at least 48 hours in advance. Other equipment and software are available as appropriate and reasonable for specific disabilities case by case. |
